Piling on...  the irony of this is Sox are overtaking the Tigers on total runs scored this season, and the Tigers are enabling it.

Good preparation for the critical stretch of 13 games starting tomorrow night.  If we keep this up , we can wrap up the division early.

Makes me nervous when a team scores a ton of runs in a game because the next game its usually a struggle to score.... ever notice that?

Mo Rivera gets another b.s. strike call to go his way... 6 = 5 Yanks.  Incredible.  Such favoritism... catcher practically scooped the ball outta the dirt, and was 6 inches outside.  Retire already, and take Slappy with ya!!

    He has earned it

Earned what?? A pitch being called strike three, to end an inning, instead of ball 4 to load the bases in and one run game?

The Yankees have a couple of lefties lined up for the series , so we will have to adjust to that. But we are really swinging the bats tonight.  Should be interesting.

Sox need to resign Drew.  He started slow due to concussion and then had hamstring injury but he  has had many big hits.  He has been very good defensively.  Make Middlebrooks a first baseman, Bogaerts at third.

Correction, J Bay, in his inimitable style, the seams of the ball caught the outside corner; however, it was arguably low, but that was not clear cut either, since the path of the ball may have scraped the knees. The reaction here, especially so far removed from that game, is hilarious as well, and typical.
