It would sure be nice to BURY the Yankees today. If we can win and complete the sweep that should be one of the last nails in their coffin for 2013. Kuroda has been having problems lately and Lester has been pitching very well. Good chance to do what other teams have done to us over the last few years.

Yeah, RSN needs a little role reversal this year, handing the Yankees what they have been dealing the Sox in past Septembers.  How sweet it is....

I hope the Rays are enjoying their time out on the West coast.

    Pete Caldera/Bergen Record

The Red Sox have never swept a 4-game series from the Yanks in the Bronx. But Boston did have a 5-game sweep at old Yankee Stadium in 1939.

The Yankees in their last 12 games other than Tampa for 3 play 3 each against all last place teams, Jays, Giants & Houston. I want the Bastards out of the playoffs completely as they are and have been always dangerous.

Based on the 25 runs they've scored in this series so far, i'd say their offense isn't done. Might want to put that fork back in the drawer.

    [/QUOTE]

How many of those games did they win?  Zero, zip, nada. They have no pitching.  They have a ten game road trip coming up.  They are DONE.
