Nice.  Two rookies.  Five lefty bats, including switchhitters Nava and Saltalamacchia.  Might be first time this year Salty has batted 5th.  No Vic, no Drew.  Message is clear:  we already got what we wanted at the Trop, so let's spread the playing time around and rest a veteran or two.

Funny thing, I will always defend Farrell's lineup, but can admit I too like to see the rookies in there just to see what they can do.  I believe Bradley had a nice double last night over the leftfielder's head.

I like Gomes as a person, but as a hitter, not so much.

You don't seem to like much Torgo.  You certainly didn't think this team was going anywhere with this pitching staff and was sure to let anybody on the board know that.  Now I'm reminding them again.

Been a battle for Peavy tonight, but kept them close enough to come back and tie it.

Nice come back by Sox.  That steal by Salty was timely, otherwise the tying run wouldn't have scored.

Need to shut down the Rays now, the way it has been since 4th.

    Good to see the Drake.
