Yup, I know we are within 1-2 days of clinching a wild card and it's almost an impossibility for us not to win the division BUT I WANT A WIN TONIGHT !!! We need the Orioles to question their almost invincibility attitude I am sure they have facing us. We are our own enemies, however, as getting 15 hits and 3 runs hasn't happened to us in 30 years. Can you imagine sweeping us at Fenway and the confidence they would have going for the last 3 in Camden Field & their winning perhaps a 2/3 series guarantees them a wild card ? Let's at least teach them some humility with a loss tonight and maybe 15 hits and a more reasonable 7-8 runs ! Let's not start with a 2-0 lead & let it stagnate while their starters get stronger & play until the 6th inning.

First of all, Orioles are likely going to win the season series against the Red Sox anyway regardless what is the outcome for tonite game.  Therefore, the last three games of the season may be so meaningless to Boston.

But I do want Boston to win tonite.  Not because they can set the tone between two clubs.  It is because Boston want that homefield advantage!!!

    Jenny Dell/NESN

Ortiz burst into Farrell's press conference to complain about official scorer. He was joking this time.

It appears JBJ's speed has also been overrated.

He's not a speed demon at all.  7 steals and 7 caught stealing for PawSox this year.

Ellsbury won't be back IMO.  Bradley may not be the same player but he'll be so much cheaper.  They'll have more money to put elsewhere.

Ellsbury tends to be not on the field a lot too.
