Take  the  2 runs   not sure why they sent Drew  .. threw to 2nd   he double clutched and still threw him out  by 8-10 feet
but  we'll take  a 6-1  lead  thank you  Salty..

Nice clutch hit for Salty. How in the world do you send Drew?  Anyway, nice cushion now. Maybe we finish up with Aceves and rest Bard and Paps?

and here I was trying to justify Lowrie's defense to some of my friends.  Oh well everyone makes error's, but that did look ugly; Lowrie lost it in the transition, but hey that happens from time to time.

gee normally bad breaks have been coming back to huant the Sox, so seeing a double play right after a missed douple play feels really really really good.

He's still better defensively than Scutaro.   He has slightly better range and better hands (despite his back to back misplays). Don't forget his errorless streak at short before fracturing his wrist.

I think so, he has a bad rap from his minor league projections as a prospect, but many scouts have said that his defense improved very nicely in the Sox system.  Not a GG but average, which is fine with me if he can hit like he has  been.

Geez. Crawford is really struggling. If .200 is the Mendoza line, what do we call .100?
