    If nothing else at least we can get this anderson kid out of the game and we have our top of the lineup coming up. I feel a 9th inning win tonight

    The MLB.com announcers (ie, the Oakland announcers) made the point that Anderson pitches better against righties than lefties, early on in the game.  They said that if he can learn to make his curve work as well on lefties as it does on righties, he will become an outstanding starter.

    Okajima is awfull and fools nobody. Theo should have signed Scott Downs. Still no lefthander in the pen. Okajima's 88 MPH fastball fools no one.
