The Red Sox radio team is talking about how Jason Vargas and Doug Fister don't have good "stuff," but the duo offer effective and cost-efficient options as No. 4 and No. 5 starters (I still think the Red Sox will get to Fister).
The Mariners can get great "stuff" from Felix Hernandez, Erik Bedard and Michael Pineda at the top of the rotation. -

A Sweep...at home.....vs the M's......is a definite reality.....Time to deal with it....unless of course you are self-proclaimed "real fan" and prefer to keep your head buried in the sand.
Pretty soon when the Sox are able to split a 4 game series against a team in late May, other teams will scratch their heads wondering "how can we only split a series to a 2nd tier team?" -
