Where is Iglesias? Yeah, put Drew in there who stinks right now. Put your best lineup on the Field John Farrell.

Keeping players happy (Drew and Middlebrooks) is nice as long as such moves do not hold back the team.

OK, Iglesias will not be a season long .450 hitter, but right now he IS a .450 hitter.  The sample size has gotten large enough for this kid to play every day until he hits something like .250.

    Ride the hot player!

Was thinking the same thing, the past few weeks, hugh.  After a merry go round at SS, since 2004, we finally have a keeper, 10 years later. Can it be?Laughing

Nava is proving a lot of people wrong, including me.  Last year I didn't think he was a full time major league talent.  I eat my words.

Aceves has worked in and out of trouble but can't stay with him too long, if he continues to  walk the bases

Sheesh, I cant believe Aceves pitched like that again. I wouldnt have even bet a nickel on it. Im starting to believe he really IS the most interesting man in the world.

Especially the way he started, didn't look like he was long for the game. He settled in and got better, after the first few innings.

Andrew Bailey reminds me of Don "Full Pack" Stanhouse of the Baltimore Orioles of the late 1970s. I watch this guy pitch and I want to reach for a pack of Marlboros.

Andrew Bailey. Man this guy scares me half to death every time he goes out there. But 4-2 at the Trop, 7-2 against the Goofy Genius over all. Nicely done, now take 3 of 4 from Baltimore.

I did not know that Roberto Hernandez is formerly known as Fausto Carmona.   No wonder he looked so familiar.   LOL

Also, I liked how Bailey did the "Shoot the Moon" dance after the win!!!    Laughing
