Farrell is doing his best Tito impression, sitting on his hands when he should have PH two times in a row

Runnin out of chances here. With the long game last night still every chance the Baltimore pen doesn't hold up. Would like to have seen a bunt there with no-one out and speed on 2nd.

It looks to me like the O's have an excellent book on how to pitch to the various Sox hitters. And Tillman is executing the plan very well.

    Stabbed by Foulke.

Agreed, seems like Tillman is having a "career night" tonight.

No, makes sense don't want to lose both your catchers and Salty caught 13 innings last night. One at bat isn't worth injury to Salty.

So Dempster kept us in the game for 7 inings, I'd say thats good enough. Now we just need a couple.

    Great play by Nava

I disagree. You try to win the game. Salty gets paid to catch. He can do it for a couple of innings today. You KNEW Ross would strike out there.

Sox have been held scoreless for the last 14 innings . As I said earlier , the O's have a very good plan on how to pitch to the Sox hitters.

The Orioles pitching stinks. They rank 14th of the 15 AL teams in ERA. Our guys failed to show up.

What does that have to do with the ERA's of the 3 pitchers we faced tonight?

Great outing by Dempster tonight....but I can't help but think that if I have one issue with Farrell, it's that he keeps starters in a bit too long this time of year.  I know he had to get as much out of Demps as possible due to our tired BP but 125 pitches just seems like too much right now....

I am watching how they are going after the hitters. They have an excellent scouting report on the Sox.   They are exploiting all the weaknesses.  They have been dominating us for a while now. There has to be a reason besides just saying that our guys are not showing up.
