Another pitching mismatch. Another loss. I guess I could already say that this game is over. Would anyone here put money down on the Red Sox today? Verlander v Doubront? Really?

WE ARE ALL JUST POPPYSEEDS IN THE BAKERY OF LIFE

Doubrant's era for June is around 2.50 Verlander's around 4.00 for the same period.

I think I just might watch it  ,Your game has been over for quite sometime however . Hope you do better on the shuffleboard course than here.

    On a more important note.

Yes why no CARP OR NAVA?/

    [/QUOTE]

I will watch some of it too. I don't care what their ERAs for June are: which pitcher would you rather have on the mound pitching for your team: Doubront.....or Verlander? See my point?

Carp and Nava are not 100% yet. Nava injured his left hand again two games ago.

No roster move today. With a Sunday day game today, Franklin Morales will be examined more when the team gets home Monday.

The reason Rubby De La Rosa only threw 63 pitches last night was because the rehabbing Clayton Mortensen needed to pitch two innings.

But coming off a 63-pitch outing hurts De La Rosa's chances of getting a start Saturday. At this point, Webster's still in line for it.

When Miguel Cabrera is coming up, you want to make sure you put as many men on base as you can.

We need for our FO to fully commit RIGHT NOW to rebuilding this team of losers. Yes, we need starting and relief pitching, but the players obtained need to be useful to us next time we make a run at a ring, possibly in 2015.

You're right. Just many of the pitchers are losers. Losester, Breakholtz, Doubront, Bailey, Mortenson, most of the pen that has placed the pen 13th in the AL in ERA. There are many talented hitters on this team: Ortiz, Napoli, Nava etc. But overall this is not a team that could possibly challenge for a ring and likely won't be in the playoff picture by mid Sept either. Time to plan for the future.

Terrible base running by Lavarnway. He should have scored easily, and Ellsbury would have had a triple. We would have scored two runs in the inning. Just bad base running.

Droubront is outpitching Verlander today without the passed ball we would be leading. Rocky first then settled down.  What game are you guys watching?

Wonder if the Tigers forum has as many whiners as this sewer pit?
