Throwaway game for Tito. It's a marathon, not a sprint.

A marathon for you today. You have been on here now for 14 hours straight bashing your Red Sox. Do you eat TV dinners and pizz out the open window? How are you able to do it? Trolls have so much energy.

Jeff Francour would be a perfect fit for this team. Has anyone heard if Kansas City has placed him on waivers at all ?

Nice HR by Varitek and I stand corrected that I have been critical of him hitting in certain situations. I am just a little concerned about Adrian Gonzo's lack of HR production going down the stretch. He could have less HRs than wiith San Diego last year. Love him as a ball player but I figured he would hit a ton of them (HRs) in Fenway this year.

All "concern trolls" are always "concerned". No need for an apology.

We're lucky to still be in this game (that God for a triple play).  That said, I'm not liking our offensive approach - we had this guy at nearly 30 pitches after the 1st inning, then started looking at strikes and swinging at close pitchers pitches.  If Bedard can keep the score where it's at we have the top of our line-up due up, and they better make some noise.  If not, this could continue in the ugly mode.  Man, I hate when we put in the scrubs in the 2nd game of a double header.  It may make sense given the long season, but it's frustrating to watch.  GO SOX!

And here's another one. This really is all pike does. He does nothing except jump on something another poster said, twist it out of shape, and then turn it into a hyperbole that makes him look witty. Like he says "trolls have so much energy".

You see the throw he made for the final out at third a week or so ago? Almost (dare I say it?) Dewey-like.

He is good, great arm, power, and steals bases. He would be a good right handed hitter for this team.

It is not twisting things out of proportion to call out a JoeSixPack out of order who thinks that he is more educated than the Red Sox medical staff. You need to keep the ignorant out of here since it is your forum and not his. Try not to to side with such ignorance.

Folks, Jacoby Ellsbury is beginning to make a serious push at AL MVP.  The definition of 5 tool player.  Granderson has 4 tools.

For some reason, people forget that being a DH doesn't require a lot of exertion of effort. It's 4 at bats, if you hit safely you run the bases. Not very taxing.

I understand but the Sox are very careful as to how they use the guys.  Salty gets game two off so he can be ready mentally and physicially tomorrow.
