Hello, Jete.  I wish Els could be up with runners on 2nd & 3rd base.  These runners left in scoring position is getting very old

Yankees getting "beaten up" losing 5-2 in  the 2nd inning??? Garcia left in game giving up 5 runs 6 hits gets bailed out by an offensive juggernaut ! We were able to do the same for Lackey on a few occasions yet poor John Lester leading 2-1 with no run support ends up losing 4-2  in 3rd game vs. NY and no clutch hitting by Agon watching a 3rd strike(actual ball or not) go by with the bases loaded. Yankees much better at coming back from behind...did so in the first 2 games against the Blue Jays. I love Ellsbury and Pedroia but Cano is awesome too !!!

We are a streaky team...Yankees are more consistent...hope we hit the uptrend strak in the playoffs !

     Runs: 6
    Hits: 4
    Errors: 0
    - Yankees second.
    - J.Montero walked on four pitches.
    - Gardner struck out.
    - Jeter doubled to right, J.Montero to third.
    - Granderson doubled to right, J.Montero scored, Jeter scored.
    - Jakubauskas pitching.
    - Teixeira walked.
    - Al.Rodriguez was hit by a pitch, Granderson to third, Teixeira to second.
    - Cano homered to right on a 2-2 count, Granderson scored, Teixeira scored, Al.Rodriguez scored.
    - An.Jones walked on a full count.
    - R.Martin doubled to right, An.Jones to third.
    - J.Montero struck out.
    - Gardner grounded out, second baseman R.Adams to first baseman Mar.Reynolds.

Posted by mandobello[/QUOTE]mando, trust me, this one won't be going on the highlight reel...looks like the first team with a clean defensive inning will win this one....any word on Beckett??..
