Yes it is negativity, it is negativity about the Boston media.  Quite different entirely from perpetual negativity of players, coaches, manager, owner. Thought you were aware of my definition of negativity.

Don't think it make sense to have WMB sac to leave it up to Kalish and Aviles.

The truth is that it might not be such a bad thing if Ortiz leaves after this season. Remy and Orsillo were commenting yesterday that pure DHs are very rare nowadays. Most teams are using that position to give a player a partial day off, but retaining their ability to play the field. Ortiz does not offer that option, realistically. If you believe that we won't be competing for a ring until after Beckett and Lackey, at least, leave, thats a couple of years. We could use Ortiz's money better elsewhere.

Wanted to see if the folks that thought Tito should be bunting every inning felt the same way about BV.  Tito was right to eschew the bunt, as was Valentine both of these opportunities.

Are all of these fans that interfere with a ball in play illiterate, can't read the signs or hear the warnings prior to the game? Three times now in two days.

I know you remember the article posted on the other forum that showed that bunting with a runner on first base actually decreases the statistical odds that your team will score, especially score more than a single run in that inning. No one thought Tito should ask his guys to bunt "every inning"; its just that he completely forgot how to do it.

This is word for word what Andrewmitch said last night. He had other things to do but once things go South for the Red Sox he runs back to his computer at double time.

Hey Calzone: if I want to get out for my sunset run before the game is over, should I apply in advance to do so or otherwise risk the ire of True Fan Police here?  Tongue out

He was quoted at one point as saying that he is tired of the circus here. I don't mind him staying as long as he accepts a big pay cut. Its time to start rebuilding, and we need some of the money he is getting paid to use elsewhere.

Pedey has an OPS of .720; Ellsbury is below .700. Uggh.
