Our SP is now 22nd in baseball in runs allowed per game, not 27th:

In Response to Re: Game thread for Red Sox v Rangers, Aug 6:In Response to Re: Game thread for Red Sox v Rangers, Aug 6 : Last I checked our SP was about 27th in ERA in baseball. To say this is not a problem is absurd. The Red Sox are second right now in runs scored-to the Rangers, who have two games in hand as well.

Not sure what your point is. Of course they do. Our SP has not been good this year. Are you debating that? -

This is the Carl Crawford Sox fans have been waiting to see. Relaxed and confident. He likes playing for Bobby V and so does Ellsbury. -

Interesting stat: NL pitching (runs allowed per game) is statistically better than the AL, but only by .09 runs per game. I would have thought it would be much better.
