I find those cans behind home plate to be very distracting.

I have to say it again.  Norris' delivery reminds me of Clemens, especially his wind up.

At this rate looks like Norris has all the runs he needs to get a W.

I am still sticking to 95-96 wins for Sox.

What's everyone's opinion of Houston centerfielder Michael Bourn, whose 2010 first-arbritation-year salary of $2.5 million may have laid the groundwork for Jacoby Ellsbury's 2011 first-arbitration-year salary of $2.5 million?

Ellsbury has slightly outperformed Bourn this season, according to WAR*:

Nice inning, Tim...Start something big, Youk....

Still have no idea why Drew is hitting 5th. Sure, he COULD get hot. I COULD hit the lottery tonight. I think my chances are better.....

Why mess around?  Get bats in the line-up i.e. gonzo in right ortiz at first.  Put Wake in the pen for emergency starts & long relief and start Aceves.

Bud Norris is a pretty decent starter ... the 26-year-old righthander has been valued at 1.6 WAR* this season. As points of reference, Josh Beckett has been valued at 2.3 WAR, Jon Lester 1.5 WAR, Clay Buchholz 0.9 WAR and John Lackey 0.3 WAR.

Analyzing Timmy means nothing if the sox only get one hit.  Magadan needs to fix the problem--or bring in another hitting coach
