Moonslav is at the game, so look for a guy that looks like Friedrich Nietzsche wearing a Red Sox cap.

Wow, Drew K'd w/ 2 outs and ducks on the pond? But at least he hit that GS in an 11-2 win 4 years ago, right? -

Abysmal at-bats by Youk and Drew. Youk: look at two called strikes right down the middle, when all you need is a fly ball to score a speedy runner from third. JD? Well he is where rallies go to die isn't he? -

Gee, what a surprise. Sox fall out of first and AM returns. -

Hey, where did everybody go? Drew just looked another called third strike and no bashers showed up. I wasn't gonna defend him this time. -

When Crawford comes back, they should bat him after Drew so he he could lead off an inning 4-5 times a game..........

Funny thing is that as JD was stepping to the plate I was about to write that I expected him to return today. -

Given the other options (DMac and Cameron), I'm fine with Drew playing especially against a RHP. I do have a problem with him hitting higher than Reddick (who has been raking) as well as Salty (who has come to life the past month or so). Drew should never hit higher than 7th or 8th, in my opinion, until he demonstates that he can hit again.

Vintage Drew. I realize that J.D. had a big hit back in 2007 , but I think Reddick might have been a better choice to hit fifth, today. -

Posted by joel49Of course. He probably needed professional help when the Sox were red hot and there was nothing to whine about. People had to keep sharp objects away from him.The Sox lose three or four in a row and he's like a guy trying to quit cigarettes and finally breaks down and has one and has that long lingering puff. The Sox slump is like that cigarette and he's taking a long, soothing puff -- inhaling slowly, exhaling slowly. -

drew hit the ball well a few times yesterday. reddick in there again also. they need to play consistently. reddick said on the pre game his dad told him to go out and have fun and not worry about numbers, like he did in little league, not the bigs etc. he relaxed and has been playing well. -

I do agree that Salty deserves to be moved up in the order. I was thinking the same think last night. -

very presumptions Joel.....it didn't have anything to do w/ my work schedule and that this was the first free time I've had in a while, right? but that's ok...keep making assumptions and live by your "unwritten rules of a board room"........
did you see me here when Drew had a recent 3 K game? No. Lots of chances for me to come around and bash the guy but i was too busy........... -
