I know it sucks and I'm not happy about losing but getting our Butts kicked by inferior NL teams maybe the best medicine for this team.

It show the areas that upper management needs to focus on and improve if were going to compete for a WS title.  As currently constructed we have a few to many weak bats to win consistently in NL parks.

Will be interesting to see if Miller can sustain his good outing , here. It was the 5th inning last time that he faltered.

I don't think they'll be doing any roster reconstruction so they can improve their chances for 9 road interleague games. By the way, I do believe the Red Sox lead the league in offense.

The bad baseball being played by the Sox is astonishing.

That's why I stated NL Parks.  It's tough to win when one of the bests hitters in Baseball is sitting on the bench.  You can't mask your weak bats without having Ortiz in the lineup.

Top of the order. We are overdue to generate some offense.  Now is the time.

In terms of possible upgrades at the deadline, I could only see a RH RF (that murders LHP) and a LH RP as options (unless someone gives us an elite SS for a bag of balls). We're pretty much set everywhere else.

OK, that's at least twice McDonald came high and tight to Pedey.

Jeff Franceour and Heath Bell would completely change the complexion of this team.......Get the other guys healthy (Lowrie, Buck, Beckett, Craw) and there would be essentially no stopping us.........

Bell is good , but I would not mind getting their set-up guy, Adams.

I am of course assuming not much from Jenks but he could be a wild card out there........and no need to make the trade..........Besides, out minor league system is getting thin.......

More idiocy from Tito. Great lineup, Tito. Make sure your left handed slugger is on the bench, and your part-time cold hitters are in the 5 spot. Paul Byrd could pitch around and through this lineup.
