With rosters expanding on Monday the Sox can keep Ranaudo in the rotation if they want.

Shouldn't Ranaudo be in Pawtucket for the Play-offs?

I hope Bogaerts finishes strong, I saw him play, he has the talent, just young. Majors is a tough place for a kid, hard on the mind.
I was Manager I would say have fun, don't worry, you'll be fine.

Farrell indicated #RedSox would add Workman and use a 6-man rotation in Sept. Will to use Buchholz and Kelly on regular rest.

well a small nagging injury is a bit easier to deal with than some broken ribs.  I hope playing through injury doesn't lead to a larger one for him.

Perhaps not, but when he was on the SOX with a sprained ankle, he would have taken himself out. That's where the slug part comes in.

Perhaps not???? definitely not.  A mild sprain IS!!! a completely different injury than breaking your ribs.  I've done both many times, but you don't have to be nerd doctor to know a broken rib is worse than a small sprain.  And when did that ever happen???? when did he take himself out of a game with a "sprained ankle"...

....and the slug part goes away again

Will be interesting to see (by their reactions) if the #RedSox consider that a dirty play. Don’t see many shots to the head on slides.

Hey Hugh - How is the #2 Red Sox pitching prospect looking (at least in your mind)? He's a AAAA pitcher and for the life of me, not sure why they keep using him. No out pitch and he can't throw strikes. He'll be a throw in in a trade.
