    Catcher J ?

Going without one today, billge.  thought it may help break the losing streak

3-0 already. Game over. Go Mariners! Gotta stay ahead of the Yankees.

At any, and all costs, but still can't root against the Red Sox, it helps ease the pain of a loss, though

Cespedes in the four hole makes the Sox so much better.  He is a 100+. Rbi guy.

When the Sox play out here at least 25% of fans are wearing “Bees” on their caps, Boston Strong T-Shirts etc. as they are expats or New Englanders who come out for a vacation too. Last year we even got up and sang “ Sweet Caroline” and Giants fans joined in and then applauded. There is no great hate for our Boston team as there is for the Dodgers, Angels etc. And SF is a nice quaint walking around town like Boston with a Bay, hills , seafood etc. The A’s have some Sox alumni Crisp, Punto, Moss, Reddick & Lowrie---And now, Lester, player of the game last night and now 4-1, and Gomes too. Wouldn’t I like to have kept  Lowrie at SS and Crisp at Center playing for us now  …California Dreaming !!!

But, after today, I believe the A's fans love or like for us will change as we are being swept by their major competitors, 0-4 Angels and now 0-3 Seattle.

I continue to root for Yankees to not make playoffs !!!

WOW !!!  NOW 3-3. Common Sox, help the A's !!!

Nice to see more hitters in the lineup when you fall behind by three. At least you feel like continuing to watch . Middlebrooks our new hero. This is one long first inning .

If Middlebrooks would just start hitting, this is not a bad Line-up.

Favorite on-foot towns San Fran, Boston, Nashville, Austin, Montreal, Vancouver and Victoria BC (also Tofino)  and Seattle. Haven't been in Toronto for along time.  Oh and Charleston

I do not think Webster is the long term answer to this pitching staff either. He is way too inconsistent the last two years he has been up with the team. Guaranteed he will be traded as a throwing in the off season.

Nice, short quick swing. If he can just stop trying to wail the ball, Middlebrooks has a good swing.

This looks like the best RS lineup we've seen all year. Unitl Castillo gets his shot, I hope I see it every day. Except, Ross once a week, etc.

For future pitching propects, former first round pick Brian Johnson may be the best one.  10-2 with a 1.83 ERA for Portland. Seven innings, one hit, and 10K's last night.

Except for one poor start in which he gave up seven runs Johnson has allowed only six runs in his last 56 innings. Awesome.  And he is a lefty.

This is the shortest start of Hisashi Iwakuma's career (the previous shortest was against the Red Sox and Allen Webster at Safeco Field in Seattle).

The 39 pitches thrown by Iwakuma in the first inning broke his previous high of 28 pitches in one innings.

Perhaps, yet I'll feel better when he can hit the low and outside slider with some consistency.
