On Jenks, he was a pretty solid reliever who was bad timing for Sox...

He was a BIGGER strikeout machine last year when he helped the team win the WS. His OPS of 2014 is identical to 2013 (by a point .842, .841). Naps power numbers are down, but he could easily match his 23 last year. His 92 RBI last year was his career high, but he probably will reach his career average...which is actually in the high 60s...Napoli isn't as great a run producer as a lot of people make him out to be. Never was a RBI machine, never was a massive HR hitter, 30 at best, many in the 20s.

Danny I don't know hen Napoli was thought of as a number 5 hitter. Abreu was signed during the Workd Series which if we had signed him would have looked bad on Napoli playing. Those signings should not happen till after the World Series, not during it.

[object HTMLDivElement]   We tried. Sort of. We made him an offer. The White Sox outbid us. It is one thing to get out bid by the Yankees. It is another to get outbid by the Chisox. Should not happen.
