Buchholz looking crisper in second inning of work. Fastball seems to have more on it.

Buchholz is done after 3 innings and in the neighborhood of 45 pitches. #RedSox had video on him, too. Lots of work/time going into this.

Btw, this is kind of amazing. As pathetic as the SOX offense is this year, they've scored the same amount of runs as the Yank-ems.

The Yanks offence is a major snoozefest these days.  And they just lost 2-1 to KC.

I've made a correction to my post; SOX and Yanks have scored the same amount of runs thru 61 games.

[object HTMLDivElement].  From what I can see, their problem is much the same as ours. Hitting with RISP.

Other than Uehara, is there anyone on this SOX team who s/b on the ALL-STAR team? I can't think of anyone.

Holt in LF was very predictable given the weak OF hitting.

[object HTMLDivElement]. If Holt continues to do well in the leadoff spot, I would flip flop Bogaerts and Pedroia . Not a big deal, but more suited to their respective strengths.

That makes perfect sense; expect Farkell not to do it.

If Lackey can't stop the skid tonight, the SOX could easily have a 9 game losing streak. Actually, because the SOX don't have an ACE,  there's no limit to the number of games they could lose consecutively.

Even the pathetic Yank-ems have a stopper.

Hoping Napoli comes back swinging. Last night may have been a turning point in that sense. Pedroia hit his first HR off a first pitch in 3 years!!!! No wonder he hasn't been getting them. Swing Nap, swing!
