Jessey, my guess is that Pike is trying to expose Georom4 as a closet Yankee fan.

Pikes a ConcernTroll about other posters. 1. Georoms post is about if the yanks got lee how crazy the al east would be with the pitching and the lineups. He says bring it on, as in lets go for the challange, clearly still supporting the redsox. 2. Stop diggin up old threads to support a point that has nothing to do with baseball. The sox are winning right now, lets just be happy as sox fans. -

Pike sees it as his sacred duty to expose all traitors on the board, both real and imagined.
It's a thankless job. -

My problem with the thread that Pike linked to was that someone osted that most Italians are Yankees fans. I resent that. I'm Italian -- all my grandparents are from Italy -- and I'm not a YANKEES fan.(EDIT: FIXED) -

I think you misspoke roy. I believe you meant to say that you are not a yankee fan. Now you're on Pike's list. -

Don't let him get to you. His father must be the editor or something close as he gets away with a lot more than other users have.

How many home runs does Swisher have so far? I believe he is tied with Jeter but I forgot the number. Anyone know? -

I have nothing at all to do with Pike and I agree with Georom4 that it would have made the season much more interesting if the Yankees had signed Lee. The fact that Lee gave the Yanks the fin-ger ruined my winter. In fact I was looking forward to an ALCS series in late October with Tim Wakefield on the mound in the 11th inning in Yankee Stadium with Nick Swisher at bat. I just love living on the edge. That is what is all is about. -

Yeah that would have been interesting - hopefully next year they (YANKS) will have Felix and Albert - how very interesting. Perhaps by 2013 they can also get Josh Hamilton and John Lester - how interesting that would be. -

My guess is that you are being sarcastic but what scares me is that Flapjack probably agrees with you.
