    Good bye Francona!!!!!

He has to be fired after this garbage waste of a season!! Ive wanted this guy out of here for years and I finally will have my wish. He cant manage a freking team at all! The yankees have garbage pitching all season and they survive with the pennant...we lose ours at the end and go on the worst collapse in baseball history. This is WORSE THAN BILL BUCKNER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If they even made the playoffs they would be fu cking swept!!!!!!!!!!

Terry is likely to be fired.

Until tonight, that would have made me sad.  Now - not so much.

They'll probably sign him to 1-year deal and then see how first part of next season goes.  If it's more of the same, then he's certainly gone.  Who could they possibility bring in at this point?  Apparently, Ozzie was traded to the Marlins.  Would be interesting to see that type of manager with these slackers.

    Re: Good bye Francona!!!!!

ACTUALLY....IT'S EPSTEIN WHO SHOULD GO FIRST. HE WAS THE ONE
WHO PUT TOGETHER THIS TEAM OF LOSERS. A FEW MEN ON THIS
TEAM DESERVE PRAISE...ELLSBURY AND PEDROIA. AND ACEVES, BARD
PAP AND MORALES. THE REST OF THE TEAM SHOULD BE RELEASED.
OF COURSE....IN THE HIGHLY SALARIED WORLD OF FREE AGENTS
AND THE PLAYER'S UNION, IT'S IMPOSSIBLE ...SO BOSTON FANS
ARE GOING TO FACE SOME YEARS OF UTTER FRUSTRATION. THIS
SQUAD IS GOING TO GET MUCH, MUCH WORSE IN THE NEAR FUTURE.
WHY ? YOUKILIS IS THROUGH. HIS BODY IS BEATEN DOWN.
AGON IS NOT A TEAM LEADER, JUST A PRETTY BOY OUT TO PAD THE
AVERAGE. HE WAS GOOD IN SD, AND HITS A NICE AVERAGE HERE,
BUT HE TIRED IN THE STRETCH AND DOES NOT RUN OUT BALLS.
ORTIZ IS THROUGH, ALSO. HE WILL BE TENDERED A CONTRACT,
BUT THE SOX ARE SO RIDDLED WITH HOLES, THAT THEY WILL
HAVE TO SIGN THIS FAT TOAD. WE HAVE NO CATCHER, AN
AGING SHORTSTOP, A BUST OF A SIGNING IN LEFT FIELD, WHO
CAN'T HIT THE FASTBALL ANY MORE AND WHO IS A LIABILITY
    W. THE GLOVE...THAT'S CC. ALL RIGHT !! . OUR TWO ACES ARE
    SHOT....BECKETT DOESN'T HAVE IT ANYMORE....TOO MANY INNINGS
IN THE ARM, AND LESTER IS FINISHED ALSO. HE HAD HIS GLORY
DAYS. WAKE IS BYE-BYE, THANK GOD. ACEVES AND MORALES ARE]\
GOOD AS ARE BARD AND PAPS, BUT PAPS WILL LEAVE FOR GREENER
PASTURES. THE RAYS ARE JUST A BETTER TEAM WITH BETTER
PITCHING. SHIELDS, MOORE, PRICE, NIEMANN, COBB, WILSON.
NEED I SAY MORE ??? MADDON MANAGES RINGS AROUND
FRANCONA, AS DO MOST AMERICAN LEAGUE MANAGERS.

CHICAGO (AP)—White Sox manager Ozzie Guillen was released from his contract Monday night to pursue other opportunities.

Guillen met with owner Jerry Reinsdorf for about 30 minutes earlier in the day. Guillen said he told Reinsdorf he would like to return, but only for a contract extension for more money. He had one year remaining on his current deal.

The White Sox said in the release they retain the right to compensation should Guillen accept a managerial position with another major league team for the 2012 season. Guillen, who had a 678-617 record with the White Sox, will not be in uniform for the remaining two games this year.

The info in my post was from ESPN; they led their Baseball show with it.  In the piece, they opined it may have been a way around tampering, and that at least one major league player would have to go to the ChiSox.

Either way, for the Red Sox to sign Guillen, they are going to have to part with a player or players that the White Sox will accept.

Like I said, it will have to be somebody they will take.  They might take the player, but they aren't going to take the contract.

Tito should be offered a pay cut and a one year contract of probation. If he refuses, fire him before his contract de jure ends.

Theo is the one who should have already been fired.

Any ideas give me some please. Were has been aceves in all this brought him in to late last night. He should have been starting for Kyle Weiland in the first place , but waited to long he will be gone. If he is not then the sox ownership is stupid which will not surprise me either way.
