[QUOTE]At some point, only a fool wouldn't realize it's not the manager or the injuries. It's the players. The entire roster can't be changed, but non-performing veterans in leadership positions can be shipped out.

Only a fool would conclude that the two are mutually exclusive!  Or those with a small mind!  In mono-syllabic terms, that one excludes the other.  If the players suck, the manager must NOT???  That is in fact what you are saying.  Ipso facto... Small minds!

    That's Softy!  & a couple of others!

Could it be????   that they both could suck!  Is that possible in your myopic worlds????

Let's face it!  Those who believe in the theory of mutual exclusivity.... "It's ALL ABOUT this team sucking, SO THEREFORE bobby v. DOESN'T / CAN't suck also," are one of 5 things......

    1)  Too stupid too understand that both are likely to be true?

    2)  Too stubborn to admit both are likely to be true!

    3)  Have too small a brain to juggle two possibilities existing concurrently.

    4)  Honestly believe that if one is true, the other can not be true, thus confirming choic #3.

    5)  Just a total and complete D bag gie. (that one's for Softy :)

    Speaking of baseball rants,

Mike Francesca - who I am not usually a fan of - had an epic rant against the collapsing Mets today

Re: Good To See The McClure Firing Inspire the Troops

thank you for your fine post, tommy. But is anyone going to admit that the pitching has been worse since McClure got fired and Niemann took over. Niemann might be a good guy, but he is a Valentine flunky and the staff has been in disarray since Niemann took over. More so than under McClure.
