    Goodbye Daniel Nava

Sox have DFA'd Nava to make room for Drew Sutton on the 40-man roster.  His grand slam on the first pitch he saw in the majors will long be remembered. Unfortunately, it was all downhill from there.  I hope someone picks him up, but if not, he's got one hell of a story to tell his kids and grandkids.

He won't have any kids or grandkids to tell the story to until Erin Andrews accepts his stalkerish advances.

He was an example to all of us...............one of endurance and perseverence.

He had an Andy Warhol "15 months of fame".

    Good luck, Dan!

First pitch .... grand salami!  Terrific moment!

He's got enough gumption to make it somewhere.

Don't go too far way, Daniel!

     Here's my post from 10/24/10....

Nava, will never see the inside of Fenway again, unless he buys a ticket.
Not surprised at all, but what a great moment last year.

Nava's tale is a real 'Feel good" story for all of us who ever aspired to put on a ML Uniform.

For a while, Daniel Nava Lived The Dream.

    Re: Goodbye Daniel Nava

If nobody claims him, isn't it possible he re-signs a minor league deal with the Sox or do they have someone else they want to promote to his spot??
