Ya know, the funny this is that that column is really not that far off from the truth...It should add that new manager must deflect all negativity away from the 3 blind mice up in the luxury box too...

I wonder is it okay to make fun of JFK getting shot now? Seems it is cool to make fun of Lincoln getting assassinated.

Bill-806 makes fun of Pearl Harbor all the time.

Must be some sort of expiration date for Americans on historic tragedies that allows for them to make fun of such horrible events.

Re: Help Wanted: MLB Manager's Position/Location Boston/ Opening October 2012-Who would you like to see get this job?

Who the heck would want the Sox managerial job?  Our entitled players (darn near every one of them) couldn't muster up an effort for Francona and got him tossed.  Sox bring in BV, a completely different style and temperment, and before the players even met for spring training they were sniveling like broken hearted 12-year old girls.  They never gave BV a chance.  Then, on even the most light-handed comment "nice inning kid," a rice-paper thin skinned whiney, overpaid, over-sensitive, self-important punk ran tattling to "Mon and Dad."  Then Mom and Dad punish the managers, who is suppose to be the boss.  Gotta love it - he was doomed to fail by both the players and management, but BV has fault in this abortion of a season?  Yup, okay - let's can his happy backside.  Then what.  Can't play for Tito, can't play for BV - perhaps Papi, Pedey, or the under-performing starting pitchers can take a whack at being in the big chair.  Does anyone honestly think that a decent ("baseball man") kind of manager would even bother coming here?  What remains - getting a first-time manager, who would "meet the approval" of this team of whiny brats pre-hire, then report for castration post-hire prior to hitting the dugout, because you know, management wouldn't want him saying something too harsh for the brats ears and brains to absorb.  About the only person meeting these qualifications is Stuart Smalley or one of PC police talk show/political types.  Yeah, that's the ticket!

    Michael Corleone.
Someone needed to eliminate the troublemakers in the clubhouse.
Again, what's the use in changing managers, when the problems remain on the team and in the front office?

As annoying as Borges is, he's pretty accurate on that job description.  I can't think of a worse MLB job than managing the Red Sox right now.

Are you kiddingnunless management backs the manager you will have the same garbage you had this year. This is not about Valentine. Its about underperforming prima donnas on this team that never worked a real job in their lives. Sorry I am venting but the way these clowns have behaved and performed iver the last year, its a disgrace with the money they make and stage they are on with the exception of a few.
