Here We Go Again, Red Sox Chocking

Just about a week or so ago, the Red Sox had a 4 game lead over The Rays and a 12.5 game lead over the Yankees. Suddenly, NY is only 7.5 out and the Red Sox have lost 5 of their last 7 games.

We just do not have the pitching!

If you think we have the pitching, you are all nuts!

I'm sorry, but you are outclassed by the veteran Chicken Littles we've got on this board.

Back to AAA with you. Try again next year.

It is all about scheduling.  Some AL east teams had a favorable schedule while others did.

Once this week is over, Boston will have a much easier traveling schedule.  Furthest is to Detriot.  I know Colorado is the furthest, but that is on the last week of the season.  It could be meaningless week.

The standings and GB are just as they were at the AS break. So despite what you see as the RS falling then so are the rest of the ALE.

LOVE my  Red Sox, Bs, Cs, Pats and enjoy the ride every year.

"Chocking" is the act of preventing a wheel from moving by using a wedge or block.

It is a real word.  Why the Sox are doing this and why it is a problem is beyond me...

“Listen to the mustn'ts, child. Listen to the don'ts. Listen to the shouldn'ts, the impossibles, the won'ts. Listen to the never haves, then listen close to me. Anything can happen, child. Anything can be.”

Did anyone really believe we'd go the whole season without a bad 10-15 game stretch?

Let's just hope that is all there is to it.
