Holt and Snyder or Middlebrooks and Boegarts?

Why wait? Every win now matters later...don't get why not here yet?

Easiest question ever posted and the answer is Middy and Bogy.  They certainly wouldn't do any worse in my opinion and both have all the motivation in the world to prove themselves.

I would rather win or lose with them....

It all comes down to the best 25 in the entire RS system. Until BenC and JF are willing to put the best twenty five at the MLB level they will not be as successful as they can be.

Beato, Snyder are not in that 25. If you can't trade Beato and Snyder Waive them. If you haven't traded them by now and no one has called expressing interest they will pass through waivers.

There is no point not having WMB and Xman with the team. KC lost for years playing their kids going through growing pains--if we don't make the playoffs without the kids you will always wonder what if we had brought them up a game or two earlier than we did.

At the moment our FO is out of their minds keeping Holt and Snyder here.  Napoli and Gomes also won't all of a sudden start killing lefties so any fans that believe otherwise are dreaming for the best.  They are both seeing better lefties more often in the AL East than ever before and are simply not good enough ball players to hit them.

It's time to wake up and smell the coffee while we are still in first place.

Yeah- good, Snyder & Holt have no intention of trying to prove themselves.

Gomes has killed lefties for years. I guess it is insane to think he might revert back to his norm anytime soon. Napoli has been streaky his whole career. It's crazy to think he might get hot anytime soon.

They are both seeing better lefties more often in the AL East than ever before and are simply not good enough ball players to hit them.

Yeah, that must be it. Let's bring up some AAA players to face these great lefties under the bright spotlight of Fenway.

It's time to wake up and smell the coffee while we are still in first place.

I'm not against bringing up Boggy (or Middy), but thinking they are going to lead us to the promise land is dreaming for the best.

Holt and Synder are late inning defensive replacements at best not evryday shortstops. Both of them hit like Brett Lillibridge, which means they can't hit. Come on Ben get a 3rd baseman who can hit please and some bullpen help. Lets not get cheap here and lets spend some money.

That is right, I would rather win or loose with Bogey at 3rd than the combo we have now.

We have a far better chance of winning with these two and it seems a more than likely chance to lose w/ Snyder and Holt

Snyder is not known for his fielding.

How much do we need a change at 3 B  BenC and JF

    Holt is 3 for 29 in his last 10 games----BA  .103

    Snyder is 3 for 24 in his last 15 games--BA  ..125

    That's 6 for 53 from the 3 B  corner inf. position---combined  BA  .113--1 HR ----4 RBI

Nap on the other side in the last 17 games is 13 for 58----BA   .224---I HR---5 RBI

How much do we need Young, WMB or XBo.??????????

The scoreboard says more than I can. The scoreboard says Jake's ERA is 4.50.  Sorry , but that is not better than any of our starters.  In fact, it is quite mediocre.
