I read somewhere that the team's chef, Shannon Yates, prepared Collard-green wraps for lunch.  That's a bit too organic for me.  I prefer a bacon cheeseburger with fries.  LOL

Nice to hear some good news.

Lackey could be the wild card this year. I'm pulling hard for him to do well.

I think he will do better than the naysayers predict. I predict 14-8, 3.90 in 171 innings.

In all seriousness, I'm actually looking for comeback player of the year.

Lackey is getting near the final phase of his embarrassing for the Red Sox contract. He will be working much harder, now, because he wants to defraud his next contractor.

He's looking in shape, and he's saying all the right things. Starting to get my hopes up more and more. Me and my damn Sox fan optomism hahaha

As someone who has been merciless with Lackey since he stepped foot in Boston, I would like to be amongst the first to offer an olive branch.  I give him credit for coming to ST in great shape.  His attitude seems markedly different also.  I would be SHOCKED if he wins 14, but I will gladly eat crow if he does.  I will also be cheering him on big time.   Great look!  Great attitude so far :)

I do reserve the right to rip him if he starts pulling a Lackey! 

LOL as Spaceman suggests, Lackey is eating low-fat chicken dishes washed down with light beer these days.

 We'll get our first glimpse of him in action Saturday at 12:30 against Tampa.He's pitching the first Spring Training game,or at least the first couple innings of it.The game's going to be on NESN and I can hardly wait for baseball to begin again.

The whole thing with Lackey and his wife Krista was sad.  I think she had a lot to do with him signing with the Sox.  She's from Mass. I think.  Absolutely gorgeous woman too.
