Ownership wants to distract the fans from their own ineptitude with this nostalgia trip. The All Fenway Team, mascots, sing-alongs, phony sell-outs. What a bunch of bull. Last place, 24 games out, one of the top payrolls in all baseball. C'mon, the All Fenway Team? Really? And now this Fitzpatrick thing keeps unfolding. The rot at the heart of the House of Atreus is beginning to stink. In this case, Atreus is the revered, no the sainted Mr. Yawkey.

Most this nostalgia you speak of was already planned this year for the 100 year anniversary of the park. Unfortunately the Sox underperformed, to say the least.
The other stuff? Well that was before this current ownership and is a separate issue...
