If steriod era players make it to hall of fame why not post - life???

I Think the steroid era players have no place in even smelling the hall of fame personally but in the next few years some opinions will perhaps splinter.  For example players like B.Bonds who some say should get in because of his early career play or R.Clemens who was found not guilty and so on the arguments will sway.  My idea is if and that's a big if but why not have a small undisclosed ceremony with their family and wait until that player is diseased to put in a small plaque of some type to acknowledge their inflated statistics.  That way their accomplishments are noted but they do not get to enjoy the usual ceremony and praise that comes with legitimate hall recipients.  Again I reiterate these players in question have no place in the hall of fame.
