Bill learned his technique from his buddy fellow nut Glenn Beck-- that is make a ton of predictions, remind us of the ones you got right, forget about the ones you get wrong.

Example of each... Bill 806 has posted many times of Big Papi being done. Where's the "I'm such an idiot for thinking this" apology?

Beck- last summer screamed every day gas prices were going over $5.00. Never happened. Still waiting for his apology. I should have never listened to him and sold my Honda Pilot for a SmartCar. I pick up waaaaay less women.

Glenn Beck ????   Interesting, I will take that as a compliment !!!    Thanks...

    Re: IGGY is just

Iggy or Middy arent in the "doghouse". There performance dictates what happens to them. in 62 AB's Iggy has made a case for himself. There is also no mistake to admit, unless you think adding good depth is a mistake. Your obviously entitled to your opinion, but you dont sell of your depth and think a guy like Holt can have a 750+OPB if he has to play for a prolonged period of time.

I think over the next 4-6 weeks Farrell will give all 3 guys every chance to succeed and prove that they belong. Only after that time should a move one way or the other be made. I have no issue with iggy playing against tough LHP for Drew, or Iggy sitting a couple games as well as Middy sitting a couple games. You dont make any moves right now though. In 4-6 weeks, we'll see where everyone is at. A lot can happen in that time, and Im willing to bet that things will work themselves out by then.

    In response to softlaw2's comment:

Bill-806 and softlaw never foresaw that Drew and Iglesias would function well together in the same infield and that the odd man out would be Ciriaco

In fact, you and management never foresaw that Drew was an embarrassing waste of money, and Iglesias should be the starting SS. The Red Sox are going nowhere with Iglesias at 3B you loony tunes!

They need to sell S. Drew and cut the losses. Management will never admit the mistake, which is why the nonsense with Middlebrooks "you must prove yourself".

First, it was Iglesias to the doghouse.

Now, it's Middlebrooks to the doghouse, even though he is injured but still a critical long ball threat v. LP where the Red Sox are glaringly weak.

Management has the flaw of not adjusting and admitting big mistakes. There is no reason, whatsoever, to keep S. Drew, and Middlebrooks should be activated from the DL.

    Competent managment would:

    A. Sell S. Drew's remaining contract and let him audition is big strike outs and .690 to .750 OPS on another team

    B. Run Ciriaco through waivers and park him in AAA

    C. Put Holt in as the UIF'er compliement

How good is S. Drew. Just ask management. Who has bad attitudes and needs to "prove themselves". Just ask management, and they will tell you Middlebrooks and Iglesias need or needed the doghouse.

One reason why S. Drew isn't in the doghouse:  $9.5 million dollar managment decision

      B I N G O  !!!   The lib/left can't take the truth !!!!!!!

How many at-bats does a player need to qualify for the batting title?

The Angels have Trout, the O's have Machado and we have Iggy!!!  Cool

I'm not sold on Iggy just yet he has had some weak base hits although the defense is worth the price of admission but,Iggy has this sort of "thing" about him,he certainly plays better in the majors rather than the minors if he can learn to hit half as well as he defends he could be in Cooperstown.

Does anyone know if there is a market for someone like Drew,I mean 9 plus million and he's just an average shortstop, although the depth in having both Iggy and Drew is valuable. Each one of those guys including Middlebrooks(when he returns) are going to have to swing the bat well which will tell us who is going to be playing where in August.
