With the continued lack of a true ace are the Sox going to be proactive or are they going to sit on the hand they've been dealt? If they are truly in it to win it, they should be on the phone daily with one Rueben Amaro. There is only one true Ace who might be availible and if the Phillies are willing to part ways with him the Sox should be making their pitch as we speak. Cliff Lee potentially seperates the Sox from the other guys. no other singular pitcher would have the same effect upon the present make up of the Red Sox starting rotation, and if my guess is right it won't cost near as much as many think. Especially with his price tag!
