Before running into Valentine, Dice was 49-30 with a 4.25.  He might be good enough so you don't need to promote Bauer.

As long as they sign him cheap/low risk, it's a great signing. I've always been amazed at the hate he got here. For a guy who was essentially our #4 or #5 guy, he performed very well. Sure he was grossly overpaid, but honestly, it isn't our money so who cares? I'm very surprised how nobody had signed him for a #5 guy by now.

I can't believe Tito was all in, on this move. It is bad enough he's in Cleveland, but now must endure another year of DiceK.

I liked Dice but as a manager i don't think I would want that guy pitching for me...tito will be chewing on Percosets in no time again...

It looks like a good risk to me.He's signed to a minor league contract and gets a base salary of 1.5M if he makes the team.That's NOTHING to be worried about.

Are they tracking the plane towards Cleveland?  

Even last year Dice had really good stuff.

He obviously can be a winning pitcher in MLB. Will he be?  Probably not.

If he has a good season, watch how many people will suddenly be saying Ben is an idiot and we should never have let him go...
