[QUOTE]Not recently....  BUT, in general he IS certainly one of the best.  I don't think he gets NEAR ENOUGH credit for his defense!!!!  The guy is a giant!!!  I absolutely loves the way Pedey plays the game.  Tough, big swing, fears NO pitcher, protects the plate as well as ANYONE in the game, will hit .300+, 20+ home-runs, & I HONESTLY think he is the BEST second baseman playing the game right now (including Cano)!  OK, yeh!  I'm definitely biased, but he's certainly in the top 3!  Still, I wouldn't take any of the others over Pedey! p.s.   Yes!  I was knocking him big time during during his first month as a Red Sox player.  Thank God they stuck with him!!!!!  :)

If I'm going player, it's Cano and then Pedroia in that order.  Cano is a top 5 hitter in the AL.  I still take Pedroia over Kinsler.  He has the intangibles + the production.  How would you not want him on your team?

I hate to say it, but Cano is a better hitter than Pedroia.

With Scott Boras as his agent and the way he is playing, Cano will get a huge payday this offseason.

Pedroia is the best non "enhanced" 2nd baseman in the league.
