Not good, not good at all. Also, Lester gave up no runs in 6 innings, and Aceves has already given up a run. Francona needs to do something and do it quick. -

On top of that no home runs today for Crawford, just two triples. I see the beginning of a prolonged slump coming. -

If they don't add 1 more in the next couple innings they will suffer the embarrassment of failing to put up double figures. -

that would be an embarrassment how long are they going to allow this obvious mismanaging of the team... -

OK, the Sox are coming back and could still get to 14-2. AGon looked at some tape and fixed his swing, then told Pedroia what he was doing wrong. Plus Jake's 3 run dinger in the first inning terrified the righty reliever, so he drew a walk.
Albers, however, seems to be continuing to back slide. That third batter hit a liner--it was caught, but still.
Whoops. Just when it looks like the Sox have things turned around, Youk makes an out. It's on Ortiz now. If he doesn't crush the ball, sit him tomorrow. -

as long as the SOX score 9 runs or more, TITO'S mismanaging won't effect
the outcome. -

As long as Tito keeps managing the Sox, destroying good teams on their turf will be the norm. Plus, of course, it helps that Drew is out--good field, great arm, no hit. -

The central teams are weak. But Boston has shown that Oklahoma wasn't alone - the tornadoes continue to hit:) -

Only one hit for Gonzalez today? He's only hitting .337 now? Time to fire Guitar Boy for this crappy trade and huge contract. What a waste. -

But we can always say that players pad their stats in meaningless atbats during blowouts. Anything to diminish their accomplishments is fair game.
