    Jackie Bradley Pinch Hit For

Jackie Bradley Jr lifted for a pinch hitter in 6th in Pawtucket. Nothing apparently wrong with him. Trade in works?

The bases were loaded with no outs in Pawtucket too, which is a weird spot to take Bradley out..take it for what its worth.

Ranaudo pulled out of his game in Portland...real interesting

Marrero did not play tonight. Who would you trade Bradley, Ranaudo and Marrero for ?  Surely not Cliff Lee.

Lee? Stanton? A surprise player? Or nothing?

Would sound more like Stanton. Can't see giving up Bradley for Lee.

Pardon me for asking, I'm not super familiar with the Sox farm system aside from the biggest names. Who is Marrero and what position does he play? What are future expectations for him?

When I first heard Bradley and Ranaudo, I thought Stanton, but I wasn't too sure.

This sounds like Stanton IMO. I read that the Marlins would want an infielder (likely SS or 2B), an OF (to make up for loss of Stanton), and a pitcher (all prospects). I can't remember where I saw it.

Ranaudo came out with 2 out in 7th for Portland, but he'd thrown 98 pitches

Maybe the Red Sox got the Phillies to agree to eat a good chunk of Lee's salary (if it's for Lee)?

There's all kinds of reports out there.  A Lee trade may never happen, but it would still make sense to remove Bradley if he's being seriously discussed.

It's legit though...most of this is coming from Twitter reports from guys like Edes, Jeff Passan etc.

They need Stanton more than anyone. We need a righty bat and I'm growing tired of Napoli and his 140K's hitting behind Papi.

Maybe the Pawtucket manager owes Gordon Edes a favor and lifted JBJ to bring him an exorbitant number of Twitter hits.  Or he did it just for _hits and giggles.

It's tough to imagine the Marlins letting Stanton go without Bogaerts heading up the package anyway...
