Yanks signed 3 good Free Agents, just waiting on Tanaka. Probably go with Santana, also. They wont be slouches. Last year had very little and competed.

ooooo, I'm so scared. Especially with a championship winning team. Bet they're scared too.:)

Hey, if this is the one time not to be worried about the Yankees we should relish it. Not only relish it, lay on the floor and roll around in absolute abandon and euphoria. This may never come again. Enjoy it while it lasts. JMO

You were a bad loser. As a winner, there isn't much of an improvement.

Awesome move for the Tigers! This will really shore up that sagging bullpen.

Actually, they'll put Joba back in the rotation and make Scherzer the lights out late inning guy.

You and Pintripezac are like a tag team here. You have the same opinions, and feel the same way about everything. Just sayin'.

          "You have the same opinions"

                Very true.

We both see the game the same way and differ very seldom.

Biggest difference between us is he is a yankee fan and I'am a Sox fan.

You're a little too upset with a Joba Chamberlain discussion if you ask me, especially since he tried to kill a Sox batter. Are you his mother?

While what Joba did was inexcusable, I guess you forgot about the fact that RS pitchers lead the league in head hunting the last 15 yrs, and in those first 10 yrs have out-hit NYY batters in that period by roughly a little more than a 5 to 3 ratio.

I didn't know you were the mother of so many.

It's too bad.  I enjoyed watching the Sox destroy him repeatedly as a Yankee.  Every time he came into the game, you knew the Sox would score runs.

The guy was unhittable until the bug incident; since then, he's been a light bulb. He's also fatter, sore-armed, and crazier. His once biting slider is now flat as a pancake. His command of the K-zone is now no  better than that of the trampoline. I doubt he's in the bigs much longer.

When was I a bad loser? As for a winner, yeah I'm happy. I also enjoyed all the talented teams that played in the off-season. Best off-season in a long time.

NO ONE has thrown two consecutive pitches at a batter's head. No one. I bet Youk wasn't even expecting that, which could have resulted in him being hit and killed or seriously injured.

And FTR you're probably talking about hit by pitch and not "throw at the batter's head" pitches.

Yankee fans here will defend anything. I would love to see the explanations if Youk was actually hit. But why should the league wait for that? Nothing was more obvious as being intentional. Any pitcher who intentionally throws at a batter's head -- twice in this case -- should be removed from baseball. You might as well just shoot him in the head. It's a lethal weapon when you're a professional pitcher.

Wow. Would have been more interesting if you put that up before the loser left.
