Lets say he somehow falls off but remains a pace that finishes with 60 hrs, 160 Rbis, and bats .360.....would that have to be considered the best Contract year of all time? -

It would be comparable to some of the greatest seasons in MLB history.Let's see what he does. What do you think is the most likely?1. HR season record2. Triple Crown3. +.400 BA -

He'll end up on the DL one or twice and his stats will fall in line -

I'd have to say the Triple Crown.
Hitting 0.400 for a whole season is even more rare than a triple crown and hitting over 60 hr in a season has never been done without either steroids or Mickey Mantle batting behind you. -

Will he slide to the Nation in 2013?
He is a kid at heart. -

That's so sad it's almost funny.
I don't think there is anyone in the majors who is less likely to be using PEDs. The guy is a rags to riches story due to getting off of drugs. He's not about to risk that. -

wouldn't blame him though. guy fell to his death last year because of him. surprised that didn't send him right back to crack & whiskey. -

I can't argue that, but I don't think crack is the reason he's killing the ball. -

The picture above with him sliding on the tarp. Awesome, and he is a kid at heart. However when I first saw it though I thought he had got his new contract and was doing his best Tony Montana in a field of cocaine. I think his ability is second to none, however I pity the team that signs him as I think he will be wasted before the ink dries. Probably be another stupid Yanks or Sox contract. -

I did like the, "over 60 hr in a season has never been done without either steroids or Mickey Mantle batting behind you" comment. But I'll still say the most likely is breaking Bond's record.Triple crown? 45 years ago+.400 BA? 71 years ago -
