That is fantastic to hear. I know he will be 39, but the numbers he's putting up are absolutely ridiculous: 1.35 ERA, 0.69 WHIP, 12.5 K/9, 8.2 SO/BB...since becoming the closer in late June, he has an ERA of 0.39 to go with 9 hits, 2 walks, and 32 strikeouts in 23.1 innings. Insane.

Koji stays where he is for next season as well.  Has been the most dominant closer since he took over the job.  Koji has faced more lefties than righties and the numbers are unbelievable.  Lefties are hitting .109/.159/.178 against Koji this year.  Koji allowed 1 HR to lefties in 107 batters faced.  Only 5 extra bases hits and 11 singles.  June 30th was the last time he allowed an unearned run.

He's great!  He was great last year for Texas too and they let him go.  My father in law is a Rangers fan and he said no one could understand the logic (because there wasn't any).  Well their loss has been our gain, big time!

he's been a rock. he's mastered the art of pitching.

Some say a storm is coming, Some say the end is near.

Some think it's all so hazy, I think it's all so clear.

Some say they have the answers, some say they know the truth.

Some people live in question, some people have no clue.

If there was no tomorrow, if there was just today.

would you make different choices? or would you stay the same?

When I heard of this, I was thrilled.  I am so glad that this is true.  I know he's 38 .... but what a great spirit as well as player!  Love the guy ...

If I were the Sox I would sign his Buddy Kuroda, that guy is amazing. Rubber arm.
