Where have you been? Wheeler has a 2.11 ERA over the last two months (19 games, 21 IP). He has been consistently excellent since returning from that DL stint.

that is true, but everybody keeps hammering him, beat writers from Boston have said That Tito has lost confidence in him, mid term grades they gave him a D or an F

If that's true, then how can he turn the corner?  2.70 ERA since the beginning of June.  He's been everything we expected him to be since he returned from the DL.  I'm not saying we'd be lost without him, but he's made Jenks' struggles much easier to overcome.

Albers has also been huge this year.

More importantly....I think the bullpen as a whole is coming together. Roles have been defined.....Bard and Pap obviously, but Albers, Aceves, Wheeler and even Morales have performed when called upon. If Jenks had been what had been expected this would be the deepest and best pullpen in Baseball, Its a shame Jenks is hurt because he would have been a great trade deadline chip for a NL team in need of a closer.

Wheeler, Albers, and now the lefty Morales to go with mvpAceves...Papelbon and Bard aren't even in discussions now, it's a formidable bullpen, and maybe Theo's best creation of all of his pens over the years.

The 2004 Pen was his best creation and you gotta give him all the credit for it

    Foulke
    Timlin
    Embree
    Meyers

    That was an awesome foursome
