Huge loss for the tigers, before he came on board the tigers were busy setting records for the most single season losses. He really changed the momentum of that franchise.

So were you, from this board.

You're just too dense to realize it.

Years ago, I had hoped the Sox would have hired Jim.

He's a class act and a darn good manager.

    Happy trails!

Wait, so Softy got banned again? And he made a new profile again? How can you even tell that he's Softlaw? I doubt, considering that the account was made today, that he's mocked Ellsbury yet.

That would give him away too early.  Somebody opined on another thread that he got himslef banned on purpose because then all his loony predictions would get erased and he would never have to admit he was wrong.

    Takes a sick mind.

He always gets banned right after all his projections go sour. That way, his posts are erased, making it more difficult to go back and find his erronious statements.

Or, he falls back on the old line, "I'm not softy, but that guy knew his stuff" line.

    FWIW

    James Schmehl ‏@jamesschmehl 23s

Dombrowski was informed of Leyland's decision on Sept. 7. Dombrowski only let #Tigers owner Mike Ilitch aware of the conversation until now.

Leyland on returning for another season: "I think I would've been coming back for the wrong reasons."

Leyland said he will accept an undetermined role within the #Tigers' organization.
