    SAID IT FOR YEARS WITH THE YANKS. WHATS the point of giving these guys excess years when you can overpay for a short term deal and add more years when the chance comes for an extension if they perform and stay healthy. hold the line. with hamilton, u go 24m/year for 3 with an option for a 4thas a team option but u dont go 4 years at 85m.. period! must also do it with eye on the minors and ells and trades.. take a bigger pic view of things!




    hamilton will get at least 4 years and 100+ million.....

     Good I will take two of Ichiro and Victorino rather than JHam--who is a great player.

    I see BenC's plan developing; keep the prospects, let them play together, bond for a year or two, learn how to win together and come up as winners.

    Now if they sign Vic and Ichiro; YES I would consider trading some of the "killer" B's for Stanton and Nolasko if we have Vic and Ichiro in place.
