#1 Lester hopefully has a great year, making us all grateful we didn't trade him.
#2 Orioles come in fourth place
#3 Youk has a huge impact in Yankee stadium and strong year making us regret not bringing him back at 1B.

1) Red Sox win the Wild Card.
2)Alfredo Aceves is released after acting like a petulant child, proving that it wasn't just Bobby Valentine.
3)Washington Nationals win the whole ball of wax.

1) We use 9 or more starters and only improve our starter ERA to about 4.50.
2) Injuries and off years do not decline.
3) We win 80-85 games.
(I know- not too bold)
Now for the bold:
1) Bailey wins the clsoer job and does very well. Reddick stinks, and all the Ben bashers will pretend they liked the trade from teh start.
2) Salty hits 35 HRs and has an OBP over .310, placing him in the top 6 catchers in OPS. His fielding continues to improve, and he walks as a FA after this year, leaving where we were before: desperately seeking a capable catcher.
3) Middlebrooks takes a step back this year. He does fine: .275 20 75 (150+ Ks) , but not what many here expected.

Red Sox score the most runs in baseball, have a deep, quality starting staff, and win the American League East.
The only major negative is the injured and bad performances of both Bailey and Hanrahan, forcing Junichi Tazawa into the closer role, where he excels.
In the playoffs, we win the first series when Jose Abreu hits a game winning homer. We do not win the championship however, that goes to the Angels over the Nats.

1. The Blue Jays do not disappoint, but finish second behind the Yankees and just ahead of the Orioles. (not so bold)
2. The Giants and Cards struggle in the NL, while the Rangers lose the division to the Angels. (pre-bold)
3. The Yanks will make major moves (both via trade and FA acquisition) before July, acquiring a bigger outfield bat, and a #2/#3 SP. Pineda pitches well upon his return, helping them make it to the World Series, where they lose to the Dodgers, who surprise all their detractors by living up to big payroll expectations. (wannabe bold)
