Not sure if he has anything to offer Orioles....but Dan takes some well thought out gambles, considering the budget he's probably working with

Delcarmen was a pretty good kid and had a couple of decent years with the Sox.

I hope he can make a recovery and regain a major league spot for himself.

Manny was very good for us in 2007.....looked like he had a real bright future in the pen....great stuff....he was OK but inconsistent in 2008 and then just seemed to lose it after that.....ish him the best and hope he can find his stuff again.

Sounds like Manny went the way of Okajima. Didn't he (Oki) end up with the yanks?

Just goes to show how quickly Relievers can rise and fall. It is extremely hard to keep a top-notch BP for years.

    In response to LR3683paw's comment:

Manny Ramirez on his last trip into Boston as a player apologized in an interview on his antics, statements, and character, for his actions here in his last two months before being traded. Why don't the Manny apologists honor his apology?

Maybe you should ask Bill-806 what he thinks about Manny. You'd get an earful then. I loved Manny Ramirez, still do. Did he cheat with steroids? Of course. Did he shoot his way out of townat the end? Ayuh. But there was no one I'd rather see at the plate with the game on the line, unless it was Big Papi.
