he politely requested and civilly got his release from the indians today. funny i thought he was released months ago. anywho.. he's been on a roll of late in the minors in his last 10 starts. he wants to hook up with a winner preferably in a familiar scenario.. whats more familiar in this great nation than bawston? i say put ryan in the dumpster for a bit as sox used to do with wake (make some DL excuse up) than go to a 6 man rotation as buch comes up for 3 or 4 starts with dice in the mix...

    Are you high?

It's not the illiteracy, it's the sheer stupidity.

    He's desperate for a job.

He can't make the Indians roster, and the Red Sox , who know better than any other team that he can't pitch...they should give him the ball?

Let's also bring back Beckett, J.D.Drew and Smoltz. Heck all those guys probably want their old jobs back , too?

This is the easiest question anyone has ever asked on these boards.

I go against the obvious. The presence of Tazawa and Uehara in the bullpen might make a difference. There are only 3 dependable arms out there right now. He has been thropwing strikes in the minors. What's the cost? zilch

Would you rather have seen him come in last night instead of Morales? Say "No" and you haven't been paying attention.

Minor league deal, then try him in the pen when rosters expand. Other than that? No.
