Kemp has a decent arm. Ellsbury does not.

Why wouldn't the Dodgers re-sign Kemp?

Ever hear of NYY outbidding Dodgers, Roy?

[QUOTE] If Kemp is that much better han Ellsbury, why would the Dodgers want to trade him, especially for a Boras client? 1. Kemp is younger and that much better in every facet of the game. Put Ellsbury with current Dodgers and his hype balloon pops. Put Kemp with Agon and you have all-time great combo in baseball type of material 2. Kemp is a FA in one year, dim bulb. 3. Dodgers would ask for more than 2 years of wonder boy, and Red Sox have blocked young parts to close the deal with ease. 4. Dodgers get Ellsbury for 2 and 6 to 7M a year plus two or three young talents that take them past year Kemp goes to Yankees via FA. Dodgers get more balanced and better and cut payroll for pitching FA needs in NL ball. 5. Red Sox are loaded with lefty quality value CF profiles Kalish and Reddick. Hole is corner Rh young slugger OFer. 6. With Crawford, not one more dime should go towards 12 to 14M Ellsbury will cost for final 2 years. Crawford 2012 will be Crawford career average within standard deviation, not Crawford 2011. Ellsbury 2012 will not be Ellsbury 2011 but will be career averages within standard deviation. Wear and tear of 2011 after year off to refresh will not produce 2011 again.  7. Red Sox are not going to give Ellsbury a Crawford debacle wheelchair contract. 8. If Red Sox do not full court press and trade and extend Kemp, he will join Tex and the Yankees via trade and extension or FA

sox do not have the money for kemp because of the high cost of wake and tax.

No, because of high cost of Crawford, the exact same type of player as Bellsbury.

Seeing Pujols at 17th should end any credibility from this list of scientific player rankings.
