Forgot Webster and Mortensen... both with a better shot at helping next year than de la Torre

Im sure it's something like that.  Brentz has a lot of swing and miss in his swing, I'm wondering if he ends up as a bench or platoon guy.  I can also see Matt Barnes as possibly breaking the rotation mid 2014.  I'm to sure if Vasquez will start, I think we need to see where his bat goes, bu his defense will be good enough to backup.

Im not sure how I feel about Middlebrooks at first but I love the idea of getting iggys glove on the field

Webster is in there as a starter.  I'm not sure he needs to mention the entire team.

Actually, we have Ross for two years, but yeah, the others are gone.  Not that big a loss, imho.  Bard I'm not counting on, but he is down the food chain a bit.

We should also be able to add a superstar FA if the right one is there.

    don't forget lackluster.

I'm wondering if they will restructure Lackey's deal at the same money, but spread out, so he won't be making minimum salary during the last year of his contract option year due to his injury. I believe if we re-structure it, the salary cap number will be reduced for 2014. He's scheduled to make $15.25M in 2014 and Min Salary in 2015, so perhaps we could just pay him $8.1M in 2014 and $8.1M in 2015. That would knock $7M off the 2014 luxury tax cap number.

I think the union will okay it, if the overall value is not decreased. I am not sure. Maybe if they increased the value by $100K overall, it might work. I'm not sure if there is a precedent.

It's hard to imagine any player giving his all while making min salary, after making $15+M a year.
