Now , if he could only pitch like Randy Johnson.
If you ask me he looks like a homeless man. Remember when Gillette and Schick were big sponsors for sports? Now we have football players with hair covering the number on their back, and pitchers who look like they are afraid of soap, razors and water. This image may work for rock stars, but not for athletes.

Miller was outstanding, last season. All he has to do is understand that he has the angles and velocity and does not need to reach back for more. As long as he doesn't overthrow he will continue to pitch extremely well. I can see him mature to a closer's role or a return to a starters role. While he's no long young, he's not old, either. 2013 should keep him in the role that he was sot oustanding with in 2012. If he repeats 2012, it will be worth considering putting him back in the rotation or in the closer's role. Talent has never been his problem, he has elite level talent. But he has never been able to realize the full potential of his talent because he has never been able to sustain the poise it takes to do so. His past shows an anxiety level that would lead to overthrowing and lack of poise.
There is a frequent poster on here that stated that roster space could be created by DFA'ing Miller, back during the winter before the 2012 season. Because he will "go off" with static, he will remain nameless. He knows who he is, which is all that is needed.
