    I was completely turned around by Middlebrooks in my estimation of his potential......but DO NOT want to risk his development by rushing him.

    So if you're right, let's hope he stays hot and isn't crushed by the fast rise.

    Youk is not on the DL .......... They really don't NEED Middlebrooks right now ( 2 weeks before his "contract" date) I'm not a Punto fan as a starter but ........  I smell an early season trade with the A's who are conveniently in town. Youk for Balfour and we throw in some cash.....get a prospect from them as well?
